In line with the goal of the HFN to support the institution of a revised Public- Private Partnership Policy for the Health Sector, a joint stakeholder group - PPSAGHP called for the support of the Chief Medical Directors And Medical Directors Of Federal Tertiary Hospitals (CCMDFTH) during the recently concluded 2- day CCMDFTH meeting held in Abuja on the 3rd of December 2014.Speaking on behalf of the PPSSAGHP, Mr. Remi Adeseun, the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria and Dr (Mrs) Bola Olowu, the Head of PPP, Diaspora Unit, Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) explained the need for a revised PPP Policy as the current Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) guidelines on PPP’s were ill suited to the Health sector hence the need to create a revised process.
A call to provide input and support to the revised PPP Policy as well as join the Advocacy drive for its institution on an individual and collective basis was made to the CCMDFTH
