The Rivers State Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) yesterday decided to settle out -of -court their differences.Addressing Journalists in Abuja at the Ayuba Wabba House, the Rivers State NLC chair person, Comrade Beatrice Itube said the association’s internal feud has finally ended as the two factions have agreed to sheathe their swords and make way for peace.
She said, “ Peace is something that is very pertinent in any situation you find yourself, the other faction started making peace moves, they came to me and I accepted because there is no alternative to peace. So we started talking and they agreed they will withdraw the case from court and then we will complete the peace move by coming to Abuja to meet with the President of National Medical and Health.”
