While commending Okorocha for appointing a professional as a health commissioner, Angela Uwakwem, he argued that the condition of health services in the state, had gone so bad during the time, Ngozi Njoku, was a health commissioner, for two years.
He said: “We want to say here that the Governor has done well in appointing a professional to head the ministry of health.
“This is not to tell you that during the time Ngozi Njoku, was a commissioner of health, her two years in office was hell, based on her inexperience in the health profession. The reason was that she could not differentiate between a profession and politics.”
He further said: “The welfare of my doctors is very significant and we want the government to look into this area holistically. The time has come to have a welfare package for doctors in the state.”
