The Borno chapter of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) last weekend donated assorted drugs worth N13 million to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to cushion their health demands.Responding, Mustapha commended the gesture which he described as ‘timely’. He said it would equally go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the IDPs taking refuge in various camps in the state. The deputy governor said a lot of infrastructure like schools, hospitals and markets had been destroyed as a result of the insurgency which required a lot of money to re-build. He commended wealthy individuals, international donor agencies and NGOs for assisting the IDPs at their time of needs.
