FG Gives JOHESU/ AHPA February 29 Deadline to Submit Supporting Documents of Their Demands

NIGERIA LOGOThe federal government of Nigeria has demanded that the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of health care professionals submit documents backing their demands.
 
This was contained in a document obtained by Medicalworld Nigeria signed by C.C Dike a director at the trade union services and industrial relations department. 
 
The memo was dated 24/02/2016 with ref number ML.HB/7410/T/133 and titled "Resumption of suspended industrial action by joint health sector unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of health care professionals
 
The memo refered to the JOHESU letter ref no HQ/MHWUN/ADM.Vol.11/221 dated february 2 2016 which was addressed to the secretary to the government of the federation and the head of the civil service of the federation and to the concilliation meeting held on february 17 2016 The memo continued " following the meeting of the governement side held on the february 22 2016, you are kindly requested to submit the following documents to federal ministry of labour and employment for necessary action.
 
i) The list of defaulting hospitals regarding the issue of promotion from CONHESS 14 to 15 as spelt out in your letter
ii) A copy of the circular Ref SMH.491/S.2/VOL.11/221 of 29th march 1976 as spelt out in your letter 
iii)  A list specifying those referred to as hospital based health professionals as mentioned in point 3 of your demand in the letter under reference
iv) The list/ category of officers who are affected by the National industrial court of nigeria judgement in suit No NICN/ABJ/238/2012 delivered on july 22 2013 who are entitle to skipping of CONHESS 10 and those that had not been paid
